Flatirons Academy found their leader in underclassman Pistol Chavez, who scored 27 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Chavez is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last six games he's played. Trey Abeyta was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with two steals.
Flatirons Academy pushed their record up to 7-4 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.4 points per game. As for Dayspring Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
