Basketball Recap: Lincoln County Skates Past Adelson with Ease

Lincoln County won the last time they faced Adelson and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lincoln County Lynx simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Adelson 70-19. That looming 70-19 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Lynx yet this season.

Lincoln County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Curtis Rippetoe, who went 9 of 15 on his way to 20 points and six rebounds. Rippetoe is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kalen Bart, who went 6 of 8 on his way to 14 points along with five assists and five boards.

Lincoln County was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Lincoln County has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.5 points per game. As for Adelson, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln County will face off against Founders Classical Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Founders Classical Academy will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Lincoln County surely won't give up without a fight. As for Adelson, they will square off against Spring Mountain at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Adelson is facing Spring Mountain at the right time seeing as Spring Mountain is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
