The DSST: College View Wolves struggled with assists on Friday (the Lincoln Lancers had 1000% more) and sadly the final score reflected it. DSST: College View took a 46-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lincoln. DSST: College View lost against Lincoln in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 58-29 score last time.
When it comes to explaining why DSST: College View lost, one person who can't be blamed is Isaias Tomita. Despite the final result, he scored 19 points along with 5 steals. Tomita scored a full 45.2% of DSST: College View's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Craig Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 3 steals.
Adeshina Alassani was the offensive standout of the game as he dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mahamud Jumale, who scored 12 points.
DSST: College View's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Lincoln, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
DSST: College View is on the road again on Saturday and play against Rocky Mountain Prep SMART at 10:30 a.m. on December 2nd. As for Lincoln, they will be playing at home against Sheridan at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
