Raceland has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Clinton County Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Raceland knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five games -- so hopefully Clinton County likes a good challenge.
Raceland pushed their score all the way to 65 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Russell 69-65.
Clinton County posted their closest victory yet this season last Friday. They skirted past Monroe County 52-49. The win made it back-to-back wins for Clinton County.
Raceland's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-7. As for Clinton County, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-10.
