Despite the loss, Oxnard still got an impressive performance from Gavin Liston, who rushed for 104 yards and one score on only 12 carries, and also threw for 127 yards on 11 of 27 attempts. Liston got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 65 yards. A healthy portion of Liston's aerial production (90 yards to be exact) went to Jayven Aranda.
Grayson Auzat was his usual excellent self, rushing for 82 yards and three TDs on only five carries, while also throwing for 185 yards and one touchdown for Oak Park. The Eagles' leading receiver Harrison Macht was Auzat's top target yet again, picking up 158 receiving yards and one score.
Oxnard's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Oak Park, they picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-5.
