The West Lauderdale Knights pushed their score all the way to 57 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 64-57 to Northeast Lauderdale. West Lauderdale was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played two weeks ago.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Northeast Lauderdale to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jeremiah Clark, who scored 14 points along with four steals. Clark continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Baskin, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
West Lauderdale's defeat dropped their record down to 19-5. As for Northeast Lauderdale, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.
West Lauderdale will be playing in front of their home fans against the Trojans at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. Northeast Lauderdale is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games. As for they, they will head out on the road to square off against West Lauderdale at 8:30 p.m. One thing working in West Lauderdale's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last nine matches.
