Willowbrook was the 2-0 winner over West Chicago when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Julia Amin paced Willowbrook's offense, picking up nine kills. Amin got some help from Kendall Norton and her 19 assists. Maggie Hurley controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West Chicago to victory, but perhaps none more so than Grace Kuehn, who had 19 assists and two aces. That's the most assists Kuehn has posted since back in September. Another player making a difference was Gracie Perry, who had six digs and five aces.

Willowbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 16-11. As for West Chicago, their win bumped their record up to 9-17.

Willowbrook wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Resurrection on the 11th. As for West Chicago, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Streamwood on the 11th.
