Lapel won the last time they faced University and things went their way  on Tuesday too. The Bulldogs walked away with  a   10-7  win over the Trailblazers. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Bulldogs.
 Jakoby Nunley made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  pitched 1.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Nunley was also big at the plate,  earning two  runs and one  stolen base.
 In other batting news, Lapel let  Quade Hall and  Camden Novak run wild. Hall  went 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI, while  Novak  got on base  in four of his five plate appearances with two  runs and one  stolen base. Those  two  RBI gave  Hall a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Ray Smith, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  run and one  double.
Lapel's record is now 12-1. As for University, they now  have a losing record of 7-8.
 Lapel and University should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage  in the MaxPreps Indiana Rankings. The Bulldogs will  challenge  Elwood  at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday with a big rank  advantage  (32 vs. 340). Meanwhile,  University (ranked 128th) will meet Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter (ranked 344th)  at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
