Atlantic Christian waltzed into their game on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They claimed a resounding 71-39 win over The Pilgrim Academy Pioneers. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Atlantic Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Charlie Costello, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine boards. The dominant performance also gave Costello a new career-high in steals (five). Another player making a difference was Noah Stokes, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds.

Atlantic Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 21 assists. They are 18-4 when they've passed the ball that well.

When it comes to explaining why The Pilgrim Academy lost, don't look at Mason Parmer. Despite the final result, he shot 43% from the field en route to 15 points and eight boards. The contest was Parmer's third in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke McGonagle, who posted nine points.

Atlantic Christian's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-10. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.6 points over those games. As for The Pilgrim Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 10-14.

As for The Pilgrim Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 51-36 victory against Gloucester County Christian on the 1st.
