West Noble suffered their biggest defeat since December 12, 2023 on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against East Noble, falling 50-19. While losing is never fun, West Noble can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 338th, while East Noble is ranked 103rd).
West Noble's defeat came about despite a quality game from Alexia Mast, who scored 11 points along with five steals. Mast is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played.
Meanwhile, Fairfield didn't have too much trouble with Westview at home on Friday as they won 51-35. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Fairfield.
West Noble has been struggling recently, as they've lost 12 of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-19 record this season. As for Fairfield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.
