Meanwhile, Christ Chapel Academy entered their tilt with the Eagles with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Christ Chapel Academy blew past the Eagles 50-26. Christ Chapel Academy has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 22 points or more this season.
It was another big night for Zaria Gaskins, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds and three steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last nine times she's played. Another player making a difference was Maya Brantley, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Dominion Christian dropped their record down to 0-4 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 16.8 points per game. As for Christ Chapel Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.
