When it comes to explaining why River Valley lost, one person who can't be blamed is Nysaiah Vargas. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten assists. Nash Hanrahan was another key contributor, scoring 20 points.

Michael Mcculley continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Kingman, scoring 24 points along with five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mcculley has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Neo Walema, who scored six points along with seven assists and seven rebounds.
River Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Kingman, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. River Valley will take on Salome at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Salome's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four matches. As for Kingman, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against American Leadership Academy - West Foothills at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (American Leadership Academy - West Foothills is ranked 231st, while Kingman is ranked 224th).
