Scott is 8-2 against Boone County since December of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Scott Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Boone County Rebels at 7:30 p.m. Scott has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 465 points over their last seven matches.
In what's become a running theme this season, Scott gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They blew past Bishop Brossart 70-45. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Scott has posted since December 7, 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Scott to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dylan Giffen, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Xarek Sarakatsannis, who scored 13 points.
Meanwhile, Boone County unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 56-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cooper. Boone County has struggled against Cooper recently, as their contest on Saturday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Scott now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Boone County, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-4.
Scott was able to grind out a solid victory over Boone County in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, winning 69-61. The rematch might be a little tougher for Scott since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
