The Bloomfield Bees's game two weeks ago was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 47-25 margin over Chambers/Wheeler Central. That 22 points margin sets a new team best for Bloomfield this season.
It was another big night for Madison Abbenhaus, who scored 24 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Bloomfield's points. Kora Poppe was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Several Renegades players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brianna Klabenes, who scored eight points.
Bloomfield's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Chambers/Wheeler Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-9.
Bloomfield will be playing at home against St. Mary's at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully St. Mary's focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven last Tuesday. As for Chambers/Wheeler Central, they will head out on the road to take on Niobrara/Verdigre on Tuesday.
