Welsh's offense had trouble getting into gear in the first half and closed the half with six points. Jennings had no such difficulty scoring and set themselves up with a advantage heading into the break. The Welsh offense took control in the second half, however, scoring 28 points. The victory bumped Welsh's record up to 5-1. The loss dropped Jennings back to even at 3-3.
Next week Welsh take on Lake Arthur at 7:00 PM. Lake Arthur enter the matchup touting a three-game streak of increasing point totals. Jennings will take on Westlake at home at 7:00 PM. Westlake are limping into the match on a five-game losing streak.
