Highland barely beat Waterloo the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Highland was the clear victor by a 9-2 margin over Waterloo on Wednesday. Highland hasn't had any issues with Waterloo recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Braxdon Decker made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out nine batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Garrin Stone, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Blaise Hawkins, who earned one RBI and two runs.

Highland's record now sits at 18-12. As for Waterloo, the loss snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 21-10 record.
