The Alliance Bulldogs had to endure a six-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They breezed by Hot Springs on the road to the tune of 53-26. The victory was just what Alliance needed coming off of a 52-24 defeat in their prior match.
Jaelynne Clarke was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 20 points along with five assists and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Ciara Hudson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with nine rebounds.
Alliance's win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-2. As for Hot Springs, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-2.
Alliance and Torrington will face off at 5:30 p.m. on December 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Torrington presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Alliance in their respective states (Torrington is ranked 54th in Wyoming, while Alliance is ranked 204th in Nebraska). As for Hot Springs, they will head out on the road to face off against Douglas at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
