Last Tuesday, Keefe Tech came up short against the Beavers and fell 52-39. Keefe Tech has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Eidan Toppa, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was George Anastos, who scored 12 points.
Advanced Math & Science Academy only won by three when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 28-point they dealt the Bears on Wednesday. Advanced Math & Science Academy took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 53-25 win over the Bears. The win made it back-to-back wins for Advanced Math & Science Academy.
Keefe Tech has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season. As for Advanced Math & Science Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 5-8 record this season.
Keefe Tech beat the Eagles 65-52 in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Keefe Tech since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
