Even though the Lennard Longhorns have not done well against the Tampa Bay Tech Titans recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Lennard came out on top against Tampa Bay Tech by a score of 60-48. This was payback for Lennard, who suffered a 61-55 defeat the last time these two teams met.
It was another big night for Richard Sykes, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Nigel Roseboro was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Lennard's win bumped their record up to 9-15. As for Tampa Bay Tech, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-13 record this season.
Lennard's road trip will continue as they head out to face Bloomingdale on February 8th. Bloomingdale will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Lennard surely won't give up without a fight. Tampa Bay Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
