Basketball Recap: Bryant Takes a Loss

Bryant suffered their biggest defeat since December 3, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against the Seymour Eagles, falling 65-45. The game marked the Hurricanes' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Bryant lost, don't look at Madi-Marie Grayson. Despite the final result, she posted 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mari-Margret Grayson, who had 11 points.

With the loss, Bryant broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-7. As for Seymour, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Bryant wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 56-47 victory against Pell City on the 28th. Seymour has also already played their next game, a 74-32 win against Eagle's Landing Christian Academy on the 28th.
