Softball Recap: Millard Has No Trouble Against Kanab

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Millard walked away with it. They blew past the Kanab Cowboys 13-3 on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 11 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Emily Stephenson was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Taylie Terry, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Millard hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in three consecutive matchups.

The victory got Millard back to even at 13-13. As for Kanab, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-16.

As of now, neither Millard nor the Cowboys have any future games scheduled.
