Pelham scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Miller County, posting a 69-24 win at home. That looming 69-24 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Pelham yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pelham to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sariyah Chester, who scored 18 points along with nine assists and seven steals. That's the first time this season that Chester posted eight or more assists. Another player making a difference was Truth Wimberly, who scored 26 points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
Crossroad Academy's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-9. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 23.6 points per game. As for Pelham, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.
