Pontiac extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Morgan Dewald. The Indians came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Wilmington Wildcats with plenty of help from Dewald, who had 11 digs and one block. Dewald is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season.

Pontiac had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 16-25, 25-22, 25-17.

Pontiac was led to victory by Araceli Serna and Izzy Hinz. Serna had 15 digs and two assists, while Hinz had eight digs. That's the most assists Serna has posted since October 6th.

Wilmington's loss on Thursday came despite strong showings from Sami Liaromatis and Addison Billingsley. Liaromatis had 20 digs and one assist, while Billingsley had 17 assists and ten digs.

Pontiac's win bumped their record up to 28-8. As for Wilmington, their defeat ended a seven-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 28-6.

As of now, neither Pontiac nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
