The game was Gonzalez's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Gabriel Solis was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with nine rebounds.
Kohelet Yeshiva's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Daniel Benjamini, who scored 23 points. That's the first time this season that Benjamini scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Chezky Levitt, who scored 21 points.
Community Academy of Philadelphia bumped their record down to 4-2 with that loss, which was their third straight at home dating back to last season. As for Kohelet Yeshiva, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Mesivta the next time they take the court. Kohelet Yeshiva will host Mesivta at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Community Academy of Philadelphia will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
