Bay Path RVT had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Tantasqua Regional Warriors  a   1-0 shutout. The Minutemen were shut out  2-0 the last time they took on the Warriors, so the Minutemen were just returning the favor.
 Dale Nussey was a  major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances with one  stolen base and one  double.
 Nussey wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Max Lapriore, who  went 1-for-3 with one  RBI.
Bay Path RVT's victory bumped their record up to 11-3. As for Tantasqua Regional, their loss  ended  a  four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 10-4.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bay Path RVT will take on Doherty Memorial at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Tantasqua Regional, they will look to defend their home field  on Monday against Uxbridge  at 4:00  p.m.
