Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sunrise Mountain to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addison Wiemann, who went 6 of 14 en route to 17 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. With that strong performance, Wiemann is now averaging an impressive 15.1 points per game. Savanna Dotray was another key player, going 6 for 10 on her way to 13 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Lake Havasu's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Sunrise Mountain, the win was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-1.
Lake Havasu will venture away from home to take on Ironwood at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th. Lake Havasu is facing Ironwood at the right time seeing as Ironwood is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Sunrise Mountain, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 53-43 defeat against Notre Dame Prep on the 15th.
