Volleyball Recap: Model Comes Up Short

Model lost against Darlington back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Blue Devils came up short against the Tigers, falling 3-0. The Blue Devils' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Landry Johnson paced Model's offense, picking up 13 kills. Johnson really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 15. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Darlington can attribute much of their success to Bradford Middleton, who had 11 digs.

Model's loss dropped their record down to 33-10. As for Darlington, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 34-6.

Model does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Darlington, they will head out on the road to take on Gordon Lee at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
