Warren lost to Downey back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Bears put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 9-3 win. Considering the Bears have won 11 contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

With the victory, Warren broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 13-11. As for Downey, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-9 record this season.

Warren will have a chance to go back-to-back against Downey: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
