St. Thomas More entered their tilt with Comeaux on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Spartans a 12-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

St. Thomas More pushed their record up to 16-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games.
