The Cloverdale Eagles's game on Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They breezed by Potter Valley on the road to the tune of 64-19. With Cloverdale ahead 31-5 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Cloverdale was led to victory by Cole Grell and Jordan Patton. Grell scored 11 points along with 3 steals, while Patton scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emilio Diaz, who scored 7 points.
The victory got Cloverdale back to even at 1-1. As for Potter Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Valley Christian the next time they take the court. Potter Valley will head out to face Valley Christian at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Cloverdale will head out to face them at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
