McLouth has gone a perfect 8-0 against Atchison County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Bulldogs will host the Tigers at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (McLouth has 22 straight victories, Atchison County has 26 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Monday, McLouth needed a bit of extra time to put away Jackson Heights. They walked away with a 9-4 win over the Cobras.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: McLouth kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in three consecutive games.

McLouth's victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average this season. As for Atchison County, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-17.
Atchison County's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: McLouth hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .502. It's a different story for Atchison County, though, as they've only averaged .236. Will they be able to contain McLouth's hitters?
Everything went McLouth's way against Atchison County in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as McLouth made off with a 14-0 victory. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
