Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kinkaid). They blew past the Frassati Catholic Falcons 72-35 on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for Kinkaid as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

It was another big night for Drace Gomez, who almost dropped a double-double on 23 points and nine rebounds. The game was his fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Andrew Wright, who posted 13 points.

Kinkaid was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Kinkaid's victory bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Frassati Catholic, they dropped their record down to 13-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kinkaid will welcome Cooper at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kinkaid is facing Cooper at the right time seeing as Cooper is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Frassati Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against The Woodlands Christian Academy on Friday.
