The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Clinton Central in their matchups with Faith Christian: they've now lost five in a row.
Clinton Central's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Luke Davison, who scored seven points along with three steals. Max Adair was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
It was another big night for Connor Todhunter-dawson, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds for Faith Christian. Todhunter-dawson is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Rj Berry, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
Clinton Central dropped their record down to 1-17 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Faith Christian, their win bumped their record up to 7-11.
Clinton Central will be playing at home against North Montgomery at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Faith Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-57 win vs. Tri-Central on the 10th.
