On Wednesday, Covenant Christian beat Lawrence County 52-44.
Several Red Devils players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Eli Long, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jack Boyll, who scored nine points.
Covenant Christian has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Lawrence County, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Covenant Christian will take on Plainview at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lawrence County, they will look to defend their home court on January 4, 2024 against Hamilton at 7:00 p.m.
