Given Tuslaw's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 148th, while Triway is ranked 411th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Tuslaw was led to victory by Breanna Mccabe and Destiny Dulkoski. Mccabe dropped a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds, while Dulkoski dropped a double-double on 24 points and 13 rebounds. The matchup was Mccabe's third in a row with at least ten points. Brianca Weyandt was another key contributor, scoring 7 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Tuslaw and bumps their season record up to 2-1. As for Triway, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.
Tuslaw will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Fairless at 7:00 p.m. As for Triway, they will head out on the road to face off against Canton South at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Canton South is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
