The Captain Shreve Gators put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Eleanor McMain by a score of 63-50. With that win, Captain Shreve brought their scoring average up to 50.4 points per game.
Captain Shreve's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jyrin Sowell, who scored 21 points along with 8 rebounds. The matchup was Sowell's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Aaron Guinn, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds.
Captain Shreve's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0. As for Eleanor McMain, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
