The Seffner Christian Crusaders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell 59-48 to Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Seffner Christian has scored all season.
Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from WYATT RICHARDSON, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and four steals. RICHARDSON hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. EMANI BROWN was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds and four blocks.
Seffner Christian has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season. As for Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-1.
Seffner Christian will head out on the road to face off against Windermere Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Seven Rivers Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Seven Rivers Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 475th, while Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate is ranked 78th).
