The Valor Christian Eagles will face off against the Ralston Valley Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Valor Christian sitting on four straight victories and Ralston Valley on five.
On Saturday, Valor Christian made easy work of Bear Creek and carried off a 12-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won six contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

Will Hayes tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Trystan Chadwick, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Javon Purvis, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
Valor Christian hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bear Creek struck out eight times.
Meanwhile, Ralston Valley was able to grind out a solid victory over Columbine on Friday, taking the game 12-7.
Porter Peonio looked comfortable as he pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
Ralston Valley's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Valor Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 11-7.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Valor Christian hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.6 home runs per game. However, it's not like Ralston Valley struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 1.6 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Valor Christian got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in May of 2025 against Ralston Valley by a conclusive 6-0 score. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
