While Kenston Forest put up plenty of  runs on Tuesday, the same  can't be said for Tidewater Academy. The Kavaliers blew past the Warriors 19-0. The result was nothing new for the Kavaliers, who have now won 12 contests by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Brooklyn Thomas was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Kelsey Marshall was  incredible,  firing off two  home runs, four  runs,  and four  RBI while going 3-for-3. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in April of 2024.  Palyn Marker (2027) was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.
 Kenston Forest was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .621. They are  a perfect 12-0 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
The  victory (which was Kenston Forest's fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-5. The  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Tidewater Academy,  they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-11.
 We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Kenston Forest is set to  challenge  their familiar foe Fuqua  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Kavaliers have won three straight at home, while the Falcons won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change. Meanwhile, Tidewater Academy will  face off against  rival Amelia Academy  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
