After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Woodland Christian, Highlands was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They breezed past the Esparto Spartans to the tune of 42-6. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 24-0.
Odin McNabb was nothing short of spectacular: he threw for 451 yards and five TDs while picking up 14.1 yards per attempt, and also punched in one rushing score. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in rushing yards (two). Roshad Burleson was McNabb's top target, picking up 106 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
