Oak Hills has gone a perfect 10-0 against Hesperia recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will host the Scorpions at 3:15 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Oak Hills has three straight victories, Hesperia has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Last Thursday, Oak Hills was able to grind out a solid win over Serrano, taking the game 6-1.

CARSYN LEON

04/08/25 vs Burroughs | 2 |
04/03/25 @ Sultana | 1 |
CARSYN LEON spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, KAYLA CAZARES was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. KAYLIN STEEDE was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
CAZARES wasn't the only one making solid contact: Oak Hills kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Hesperia came up short against Sultana on Thursday, falling 13-2.
Hesperia saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Angie Villalobos, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. Isabela Duffy also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Hesperia's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13-1. As for Oak Hills, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.
Hesperia's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Oak Hills has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.4 hits per game. It's a different story for Hesperia, though, as they've been averaging 9.4 hits. Given Oak Hills' sizable advantage in that area, the Scorpions will need to find a way to close that gap.
Oak Hills took their win against Hesperia when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 23-0 score. Do the Bulldogs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Scorpions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
