Rancho Cotate won the last time they faced Healdsburg and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Rancho Cotate Cougars claimed a resounding 79-43 victory over the Healdsburg Greyhounds. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Rancho Cotate was led to victory by Izayah Rush and Adam Pengel. Rush went 9 of 14 on his way to 19 points in addition to five boards and five steals, while Pengel went 7 for 13 en route to 20 points. Rush is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Decimus Shaw, who went 5 for 10 on his way to 10 points and three steals.

Rancho Cotate was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Healdsburg only posted two assists.

Healdsburg's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Beckett Little, who went 6 of 14 en route to 15 points, and Teague Jasper, who posted four points.

Rancho Cotate's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.0 points per game. As for Healdsburg, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Rancho Cotate wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 74-57 victory against Ukiah on the 17th. Healdsburg has also already played their next matchup (against Elsie Allen), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
