Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Walton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Renee Radovich, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for Radovich. Layla Varghese was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds.
Blessed Trinity has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Walton, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blessed Trinity will be home for the holidays to greet Marist at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Walton will be home for the holidays to greet Denmark at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
