The John Adams Academy Patriots's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 63-60. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Patriots have suffered yet this season.
Isaiah McKee was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 35 points and 14 rebounds for the Patriots. McKee is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Luciano Allen, who scored 16 points along with six steals.
The Patriots' defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-15. As for the Patriots, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
