On Friday, Tazewell were out to avenge their 0-24 defeat to Richlands from the last time they squared off against one another, but they had no such luck. Tazewell suffered a grim 0-34 defeat to Richlands. Tazewell were down by 0-27 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
The loss dropped Tazewell's record to 2-4. The win got Richlands back to even at 3-3.
Next week Tazewell take on Fort Chiswell at 7:00 PM. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games. As for Richlands, they will face off against Marion. These teams both seek to continue their momentum from their previous wins.
