Tahlequah took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They breezed past the East Central Cardinals to the tune of 55-6. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won five in a row.
Jake Girty was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 133 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in August of 2024. Synjin Sampson was another key player, throwing for 90 yards and a pair of TDs on perfect 5-for-5 passing.
