Cypress Woods is 8-2 against Cypress Falls since January of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Cypress Woods Wildcats will be home for the holidays to greet the Cypress Falls Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with six consecutive losses for Cypress Woods and seven for Cypress Falls.
Last Friday, Cypress Woods was beaten by Langham Creek 55-28. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Cypress Woods has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Cypress Falls lost to Bridgeland on the road by a decisive 64-47 margin on Friday.
Cypress Woods has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. As for Cypress Falls, they bumped their record down to 5-10 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Cypress Woods didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Cypress Falls in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 54-50 win. Will Cypress Woods repeat their success, or does Cypress Falls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
