Last Friday, Centauri was fully in charge, breezing past Ignacio 38-6 on the road.
Meanwhile, Monte Vista blew past Center, posting a 58-6 win on the road. With Monte Vista ahead 50-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 6-2.
Centauri didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Monte Vista in their previous meeting back in October of 2022, but they still walked away with a 28-24 win.
