Volleyball Recap: South-Doyle Has No Trouble Against Eagleton College & Career Academy

South-Doyle not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 28, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagleton College & Career Academy Royals. The Cherokees haven't had any issues with the Royals recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

While South-Doyle won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-22, 25-10.

South-Doyle's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Eagleton College & Career Academy, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South-Doyle will welcome Beechwood at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Eagleton College & Career Academy, they will square off against Bearden at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
