Last Friday, Martinsville's game was all tied up 20-20 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They snuck past Slocum with a 36-30 win.
Meanwhile, Neches scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Centerville 84-46 at home. That looming 84-46 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Neches yet this season.
Martinsville is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Neches, their win bumped their record up to 14-9.
